Egerton Football Club

Egerton Football Club was formed in 2002 to promote and co-ordinate all football-related activities at Egerton Youth Club.
The club was founded to provide a fun, friendly and safe environment in which boys and girls from the local community are able to develop their talents by practising and playing football. We are a friendly and welcoming club offering fun and professional training where anyone can play football regardless of their age, ability, or experience.

Here at Egerton Football Club, our aim is to;

  • Provide a correct club structure and appropriate facilities whilst promoting the game of Association Football.
  • To arrange matches and social activities for its members and players and to encourage community participation in the same.
  • To mentor its members, volunteers, players and managers and provide them with development opportunities both within the game and in the community.

Egerton will help prepare our members for a life that includes sport. We look to offer football for all which could be in Saturday Club, one of our teams, as part of our training groups, or in one of our holiday camps. We want players to enjoy football whatever their ability, to work hard, to have fun and to want to come back.

Our focus is on the PLAYERS and to let the players enjoy football. We DO NOT let parents expectations dictate where a player participates so sometimes our decisions may not always be the same as you would like. We will guarantee that the environment we provide will be one of the best around.

The committee and managers of Egerton Football Club are all volunteers who give up their time to ensure that the club offers the best possible experience of grassroots football for young people.

Pure Insight Cheshire East

Pure Insight delivers a comprehensive package of services for care experienced young people, providing access to the highest quality support – via a single ‘front door’, delivered by specialist voluntary sector organisations working together in formal partnership.    We are delivering this approach in 5 local authorities, we aim to expand the offer more widely as a series of core and additional services that can be commissioned by councils based on their local context.

Our model responds to huge unmet needs: both in terms of a single dedicated service which offers consistent long-term support; and the lack of specialist services (e.g. mental health; employment support) which can provide intensive, time-limited help through crisis.
