MARKET HALL
Knutsford Market Hall was built in 1964 and since then has been trading from the same central location on Silk Mill Street as a traditional market hall. It’s home to several traders, many of whom are Knutsford born and bred.
The market is open every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 9am to 4pm and on the Sundays of the Makers Market and Christmas Market. All the traders are easy to contact outside of these hours if you are looking to order online, arrange a delivery or collection. This means the market offers both 21st century convenience alongside traditional customer service.
The Market Hall underwent a refurbishment in 2025. The Market comprises 10 fixed traders and pop-up casual traders.
COMMUNITY VENUE
When the market hall isn’t hosting small businesses, it is available to hire as a community venue.
The Market Hall is a bright open space that can accomodate 50 seated and around 75 standing. It is perfect for social functions, charity events and more.
Hire is £21 per hour for standard hire, or £15.60 per hour for charities and community organisations. The minimum hire period is three hours.
The Market Hall has a small kitchenette for teas/coffees and an accessible toilet. A projector/screen can be provided on request.
TRADING AT KNUTSFORD MARKET HALL
The Market Hall comprises a number of fixed stalls and space for up to five pop-up/casual traders. We are currently full for permanent traders, but welcome applications for pop-ups.
