Taste Knutsford is a walking food tour of Knutsford’s historic town centre.  The tours started in autumn 2018 and are a popular and different way of exploring our town and our huge number of independent eateries.

So, what is it exactly? You will be greeted by one of our tour guides and led around the town centre visiting about 8-9 different venues.  You will often meet the owners, learn a little about their establishment whilst trying some samples from their menu.  Sometimes this will be a longer, seated stop, sometimes standing up.  So, you may enjoy a tasty brunch, some nibbles, wine and gin tasting, tapas, cheese, and gelato! As well as finding out about the different venues, you will meet and chat with fellow foodies on the tour and sometimes find out about the different buildings and architecture of our little town.  Be warned. You will be full and doggy bags are often required.

Did you know?

The main difference between gelato and ice cream is how they are both churned. Gelato is churned slower creating a thicker, creamier and more flavoursome texture.  Visit Real Fruit Creamery to find out for yourself

Where can you enjoy afternoon tea against a backdrop of a Grade II listed building that used hold trials including Alan Turing’s? Visit The Courthouse Cheshire
