Knutsford Fashion Week 2026

From Sunday 11 May to Saturday 16 May, Knutsford’s independent fashion boutiques took centre stage as the town celebrated its first-ever Knutsford Fashion Week, sponsored by Laura Davies Styling.

Formerly known as Flash Fashion, the event was first launched in 2019 to showcase Knutsford’s unique independent retailers and vibrant fashion scene. Following the success of previous years, the event evolved into a week-long celebration of style and creativity.

Throughout the week, visitors enjoyed a packed programme of fashion-focused events and experiences, including one-to-one styling appointments, personal shopping sessions, colour analysis consultations with sponsor Laura Davies and Graham & Brown, exclusive discounts, prize draws and in-store promotions.

The week culminated in a spectacular catwalk finale at The Lost & Found on Saturday 16 May. The list of independent businesses taking part in the week was:

The catwalk show was introduced by Lucy Norris of Live with Lucy and compered once again by Katy Rickitt of Dexter & Jones. Featuring collections from more than 16 independent retailers — from fashion boutiques to preloved and sustainable fashion businesses — the runway celebrated the diversity, quality, and distinctive style that Knutsford’s retail scene is known for.

Following the show, guests explored Knutsford’s independent boutiques, many of which hosted exclusive in-store experiences and late shopping opportunities. Bare Necessities also drew attention with volunteer models showcasing the latest lingerie and swimwear collections in the shop window, adding to the lively atmosphere across the town centre.

Caroline Haynes, Event Manager at Knutsford Town Council, said:

“Knutsford Fashion Week has been a fantastic success, and it has been wonderful to see the town come together to celebrate fashion, creativity, and our brilliant local businesses.

“The fashion show at the end of the week was a real highlight, with an amazing atmosphere and so many people coming together to make it such a special event. A huge thank you goes to all the businesses, models and everyone involved in making the show such a success, as well as our sponsor Laura Davies Styling.

“Events like this really showcase the unique spirit of Knutsford and the strength of our local community, and we’re incredibly proud of what has been achieved.”

The weather could have been better, but with spring finally arriving, it’s the perfect excuse to add some Knutsford flair to your spring/summer wardrobe.” Organised by Knutsford Town Council in collaboration with local businesses, Knutsford Fashion Week proved to be a vibrant celebration of independent retail, creativity, and community spirit. Now firmly established as a key fixture in the town’s events calendar, Knutsford Fashion Week will return in 2027, continuing to champion Knutsford’s thriving independent retail community.

Historic Tabley House accepts the Knutsford voucher

One of Knutsford’s premier heritage sites, Tabley House, has officially joined the Knutsford Voucher scheme, further strengthening the town’s successful local spending initiative.

Tabley House, the former seat of the Leicester family, houses a world-class collection of art, furniture, and memorabilia. Visitors can now use the town voucher to explore the historic state rooms and visit the 17th-century St Peter’s Chapel.

The announcement coincides with the launch of the 2026 season, which features a new exhibition exploring the life of Sir John Fleming Leicester. The displays showcase Sir John’s own artistic sketches and works created during his prestigious Grand Tour of Europe as a young man.

Gill Dent, Collections Manager for Tabley House Collection said, “We are absolutely delighted to join the Knutsford Town Voucher scheme. As a venue that has been a part of this community’s history for generations, we understand the importance of keeping our local economy thriving and connected. By accepting these vouchers, we’re making it even easier for residents and visitors to enjoy everything Tabley House has to offer, from guided tours to the special events we host throughout the year. It’s a wonderful initiative that truly captures the spirit of Knutsford, and we look forward to welcoming more local voucher holders through our doors very soon.”

Launched in 2020, the voucher scheme has grown to include nearly 60 participating businesses. It offers a “shop local” alternative to major gift cards, ensuring that 100% of the value remains within the Knutsford economy. Sandra Curties, Town Centre Manager for Knutsford Town Council, noted the programme’s impressive growth, “When we launched in 2020, we couldn’t have predicted just how much the community would embrace it. Today, the voucher (complete with a gift card) is a wonderful gift for all ages. It’s a point of pride that you can now use it for everything from a traditional Italian dinner, tapas, toys and now the beautiful Tabley House”.

Vouchers can be purchased via the Discover Knutsford website or in person at the Town Council offices. Each voucher comes with a gift card, and 100% of the value goes directly back to the local business.

Volunteers sought to help clear local footpath

Volunteers are sought to join the Knutsford Town Rangers and help clear a popular footpath.

Knutsford Town Council is asking for help to tidy up Sparrow Lane with the aim of removing the build-up of detritus and overgrowth which has been narrowing the path.

The Town Council is working to support active travel and accessibility for the community, and improving public footpaths helps to enhance safety, increase accessibility for wheelchairs and pushchairs and contributes to a better local environment.

“Our Town Rangers tackle a number of jobs like this every week, but for some tasks, like this, a few extra pairs of hands really help” said Jeanette Hine, Corporate Support Manager at the Town Council.

“it’s a great opportunity to be outside, meet new people and give back to the community while making a visible difference”.

All tools and gloves will be provided, and volunteers will help remove the build-up of bramble and weeds and dig out the old dirt and leaves that have made the path harder to pass over.
