23/077 CONFIRMATION OF PREVIOUS MINUTES

It was RESOLVED to approve the minutes of the meeting held 9th October.

 

23/078 MARKET HALL REFURBISHMENT PROJECT

It was noted that the council had secured grant funding from the Community Ownership Fund and Shared Prosperity Fund to deliver the project.

The Town Clerk reported that a requirement of the Community Ownership Fund would be the creation of a legal charge on the asset.

It was RESOLVED to:

  1. approve the refurbishment of the Market Hall as set out in the business case
  2. delegate authority to make the necessary decisions to deliver the project in line with the business case and funding allocation in accordance with the table below

It was RESOLVED to approve the affixing of the council seal to any documents required in respect of the creation of the legal charge, subject to their review by the Town Clerk, Town Mayor and Assets and Operations Committee Chairman.
