Cllr Forbes declared a personal interest in A22/023 and A22/025 on the grounds of being disabled.

A22/020 CONFIRMATION OF PREVIOUS MINUTES
It was RESOLVED to confirm the minutes of the meeting held 16th May.
A22/021 REVIEW OF YEAR TO DATE INCOME AND EXPENDITURE
The year-to-date income and expenditure was noted and the Town Clerk responded to questions in relation to various items.
A22/022 COUNCIL OFFICES SUB-COMMITTEE MINUTES
The minutes of the sub-committee meeting held 20th June were noted and it was further noted that the architects would be commencing work on minor revisions in August and they would then be costed.
A22/023 MARKET HALL REFURBISHMENT
It was RESOLVED to defer a decision until:
- The council understand the progression or not of alternative funding options
- The holding of a separate briefing with the quantity surveyor and architect, virtually or otherwise, with a detailed breakdown of costs provided in advance
A22/024 COUNCIL OFFICES ACCESIBLE ENTRANCE
It was RESOLVED that signage be installed at the accessible entrance and that the Town Clerk investigate installation of a doorbell at the entrance.
A22/025 IT AND TELEPHONY
It was RESOLVED to approve the purchase of a second-hand mobile phone.
It was RESOLVED to approve the purchase of two laptops.
It was noted that the IT Working Group would report to the next meeting on a proposed VOIP system.
A22/026 60 KING STREET REGENERATION PROJECT
The Town Clerk reported that he had received the consultation report and governance review from the consultants which would be circulated to the committee and that he was awaiting the proposals form the consultants fort he next tranche of works including funding options for this tranche.
A22/027 QUESTIONS TO THE TOWN CLERK
The Town Clerk responded to questions advising he would disseminate the 60 King Street reports imminently and that the council could consider a Grants and Funding Officer position if it felt it would yield sufficient benefit, nothing that there is a limited number of funders providing grants to local authorities.
A22/028 OUTSTANDING MATTERS LOG
The log was noted.
A22/029 DATE OF THE NEXT MEETING
It was noted that the next scheduled meeting would be held on 19th September 2022 at 7:30pm.
A22/030 COMMERCIAL PROPERTIES RENT REVIEW 2022
It was RESOLVED to limit the 2022 rent reviews to a maximum increase of 5% for the 2022 as a gesture of goodwill and to avoid stoking inflation.
