7 RECRUITMENT POLICY
To consider a recommendation from the grievance sub-committee that the committee reconsiders the policy around internal and external recruitment.
To consider a recommendation from the appeals sub-committee that the committee reviews the recruitment process to design a robust, transparent and consistent recruitment process that is implemented in line with the council’s strategic goals and values.

8 STAFF REPRESENTATIVE ROLE
To consider a recommendation from the grievance sub-committee that the staff representative mechanism be altered to include any nominated member of staff can attend if the staff personnel representative cannot attend for any reason
To consider a recommendation from the grievance sub-committee that the format of the committee agendas be reviewed to include any relevant issues raised by staff

9 APPRAISAL PROCESS
To consider a recommendation from the grievance sub-committee that the appraisal process be reviewed to ensure it is suitably robust, fit for purpose, and up to date to highlight relevant staff needs and any associated funding requirements and that the process is used to identify future career ambitions within the organisation
