OUR SHOP TOP CHRISTMAS TREE SERVICE
In addition to installing town centre Christmas lights, the Town Council provides a service to local businesses to supply and install shop top Christmas trees. We source our trees from Ivy Cottage Tree Farm. The service includes the provision and installation of a tree with lights. These are installed in time for the Christmas Light Switch On event and removed after 12th night.
The 2024 fees are:
- Tree (including installation and removal) – £72.90
- New Lights – £15
- New Bracket – £40
All costs include VAT at 20%
Many shops already have a bracket if the previous occupant has taken part. If shops took part in 2022 we will have a set of lights. If this is the first time since 2022 that a shop has participated new lights will be required. Businesses must have a place that the lights can be plugged in, otherwise we can provide battery operated lights (must specify at point of order if battery lights are needed).
