PL20/003 PUBLIC PARTICIPATION
A resident spoke in relation to application 20/4088M stating that the changes to the front elevation along with the changes to the rear of buildings give rise to objections on heritage grounds. The resident noted that alleyways and yards within the town centre are disregarded and could be developed with more importance in line with Knutsford Neighbourhood Plan policy TC2. In relation to application 20/4899M the resident stated that the application has the opportunity to further enhance the Conservation Area if the Knutsford Neighbourhood Plan Design Guide was used in place of just replacing existing shop fronts. The resident further spoke in relation to application 20/1161M noting that the committee had previously submitted objections and the main alteration was the introduction of a pitched roof. It was stated that the pitched roof has a large dormer window which is visible from the nearby car park and public right of way and that the amendments do not maintain architectural consistency with neighbouring properties.
A resident asked if the committee would be commenting on the Cheshire East Council Site Allocations and Development Policies Document consultation.
