The council STRONGLY OBJECTS on the grounds the additional storey fails to comply with Knutsford Neighbourhood Plan policy H3 for “extensions and sub-divisions” through the reduction of available single storey accommodation in Knutsford.

The council maintains our OBJECTION to the application on the grounds it is unclear the proposed amendments overcome the objections of the Conservation Officer, and the council is not satisfied with the landscaping plan owing to the loss of so much of the vegetation on the site and it will be years before the equivalent maturity is reached, as such the council requests if Cheshire East Council is minded to approve the application that larger stock native trees are conditioned.

25/1280/TCA St John The Baptist Church, Church Hill, Section 211 notice:

Beech Tree – Height reduction by 2m from tips. In addition selective end weight reductions from overextending laterals and all laterals south over boundary by up to 1.5m or nearest best point for regrowth.

Tree 380 (Lime) The end tree of the row of pollarded Limes. Brittle cinder fungus noted on the southwest side buttress roots. The tree has a natural lean towards and is within striking distance of the adjacent property. Request to fell and remove lime tree and grind stump.

 

The council raises no objections, subject to neighbour comments and the Tree Officer being satisfied the tree poses significant enough risk to warrant the felling. The council requests that if Chesire East Council is minded to approve the application that a replacement Lime of significantly large stock is conditioned.
