PL22/095 APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE

Apologies were received from Cllrs Gray (personal business), Morris and Nicholson (health).

 

PL22/096 DECLARATIONS OF MEMBERS’ INTERESTS

There were no declarations of interest.

 

PL22/097 PUBLIC PARTICIPATION

A resident spoke in relation to application 22/4335M stating the materials were inappropriate in the conservation area and the application lacked sufficient detail, and along with another resident, spoke in relation to application 22/3449M stating the conservation officer’s views had been considered but the revised plans will still detrimentally impact the sensitive area of the Town Centre Conservation Area.

A representative for the South Knutsford Resident Group spoke in relation to application 22/2716M stating that the application had recently been approved and would likely be on the next decisions report but noted the proposal had addressed some of the submitted comments, and that the site has another application 22/3073M currently under appeal for non-determination which contains a larger-scale proposal.

A resident spoke in relation to the Cheshire East Council Minerals and Waste Plan included on a previous agenda and noted disappointment in the comment submitted regarding policy MIN10 in relation to fracking.

22/3449M 7-9 Malt Street Revised Plans: Proposed first floor/roof space extension and expansion into adjoining property with internal alterations to form expanded gym The council STRONGLY OBJECTS to the proposal on the grounds the application fails to fully comply with Knutsford Neighbourhood Plan policies D1, D2 and HE3, as the scale and massing will detrimentally impact the neighbouring properties at Old Market Place.
