It was RESOLVED to submit the comments detailed below.
In respect of 24/007T it was agreed to write to the property owner requesting the replacement hedge be a native hedge rather than laurel and in respect of 24/0142T it was agreed to write to the property owner asking they consider a replacement tree.

The council objects to the proposed works on the grounds that the tree contributes to the amenity of the area and insufficient information has been provided to justify the works. |

Planning sought to remove 18 beech trees in the back garden along one boundary. The intention is to replace these ‘whippy’ trees out of the growing season with an evergreen laurel hedge similar to those planted elsewhere on the property by previous home owners. |
