PL25/122 PUBLIC PARTICIPATION
A resident spoke in relation to the Booths Hall applications urging the committee to defer them to a future meeting to provide additional time to review the documents.
A resident spoke in relation to the applications for Brae Cottage questioning if the proposals were a suitable design for the property; in relation to the enforcement log noting residents are monitoring compliance with the planning conditions and urged the committee to follow up the Conservation Area Appraisals with Cheshire East Council, noting that the Town Centre document contained additional guidance on signage and advertising which would assist occupants.
A resident spoke in relation to the Booths Hall applications, expressing their objections to the proposals including that the safeguarded land should not be brought forward, environmental and ecological concerns including impact on protected trees, the impact on privacy from the proposed new footpaths, the impact on residents during development and wider town infrastructure.

It was RESOLVED to approve the minutes of the meeting held on 15th December 2025.

It was RESOLVED to defer the Booths Hall applications to a future meeting to provide additional time to review the documents, noting that Cheshire East Council indicate it intends to determine the applications at the January 28th Strategic Planning Board that an additional meeting will be convened.
