P21/037 APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE

Apologies were received from Cllrs Forbes (injury), Coan and Morris (personal business).

 

P21/038 DECLARATIONS OF MEMBERS’ INTERESTS

No member declared an interest in any item.

 

P21/039 CONFIRMATION OF PREVIOUS MINUTES

It was RESOLVED to confirm the minutes of the meeting held on 7^th December.

 

P21/040 TOWN CENTRE AND MARKETING OFFICER RECRUIITMENT

It was RESOLVED that the position be readvertised as a full time (37 hours) post with the addition of involvement in the 60 King Street project to the job description.

 

P21/041 DATE OF THE NEXT MEETING

It was noted that the next scheduled meeting would be held on 25^th January 2022 at 7pm.

 

P21/042 STAFF MORALE

It was RESOLVED to exclude the public and press on the grounds that publicity would be prejudicial to the public interest by reason of the confidential nature of the business to be transacted.

It was agreed to explore appointing a consultant to undertake a review of the council’s pay structure, general terms and conditions, staff structure, holiday leave/flex and insurance/policy options for sick leave.
