P21/017 APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE

Apologies were received from Cllrs Forbes (injury) and Houghton (personal business)

 

P21/018 DECLARATIONS OF MEMBERS’ INTERESTS

No member declared an interest in any item.

 

P21/019 CONFIRMATION OF PREVIOUS MINUTES

It was RESOLVED to confirm the minutes of the meeting held on 21^st September 2021.

 

P21/020 RECRUITMENT

It was RESOLVED to commence recruitment for a new Town Centre and Marketing Officer following the Chairman and Town Clerk finalising the job description and person specification and that a panel comprising the Town Clerk and three members of the committee be authorised to shortlist, interview and appoint.

It was agreed the panel comprise Cllrs Nicholson, Coan and Dalzell.

 

P21/021 PERSONNEL MATTERS

It was RESOLVED to exclude the public and press on the grounds that publicity would be prejudicial to the public interest by reason of the confidential nature of the business to be transacted.

The Town Clerk took questions on personnel matters and reported that a change had been made to the number of days worked by each of the Administration and Support Officers but that the overall hours remained the same.

It was noted that the next scheduled meeting would be held on 23^rd November 2021 at 7pm.
