P22/002 APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE

Apologies were received from Cllrs Gardiner (personal business).

 

P22/003 DECLARATIONS OF MEMBERS’ INTERESTS

No member declared an interest in any item.

 

P22/004 CONFIRMATION OF PREVIOUS MINUTES

It was RESOLVED to confirm the minutes of the meeting held on 22^nd March.

 

P22/005 DATE OF THE NEXT MEETING

It was noted that the next scheduled meeting would be held on 19^th July 2022 at 7pm.

 

P22/006 TOWN RANGER RETENTION

It was RESOLVED to exclude the public and press on the grounds that publicity would be prejudicial to the public interest by reason of the confidential nature of the business to be transacted.

It was RESOLVED to regrade the Town Ranger post to SCP 7-12, that the incumbent be remunerated at SCP 12 and to include the Town Ranger, Cemetery Groundskeeper and Caretaker in the external salary grading evaluations

A motion to make the Town Ranger a full time position was proposed and seconded but failed.

It was agreed to review the hours of the Town Ranger in due course.
