P25/019 APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE

P25/020 DECLARATIONS OF MEMBERS’ INTERESTS

No member declared an interest in any item.

 

P25/021 CONFIRMATION OF PREVIOUS MINUTES

It was RESOLVED to confirm the minutes of the meeting held on 15th September 2025.

 

P25/022 REVIEW OF YEAR-TO-DATE INCOME AND EXPENDITURE

The year to day committee income and expenditure was noted and the Town Clerk reported on budget lines that were overspent.

 

P25/023 STAFF REPRESENTATIVE

It was noted that due to the Christmas break and timing of the release of the agenda, there was no staff representative input for the meeting.

 

P25/024 EQUALITY, DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION POLICY

It was RESOLVED to approve the revised policy.

 

P25/025 REVIEW OF REVISED STAFFING STRUCTURE

The staffing structure introduced in April 2025 was discussed and the committee noted the Town Clerk’s report on the same. It was queried whether the vacant Community Engagement Officer role needed to be filled and the Town Clerk reiterated the benefits of the role and what it has delivered and will deliver in time and Cllr Gardiner suggested the role would be important should any services be devolved by Cheshire East Council.

It was RESOLVED to approve a bank of hours to increase marketing capacity at peak demand (usually between April and July).

 

P25/026 OUTSTANDING ACTIONS AND PROJECT UPDATES REPORT

The report was noted and it was noted only 8/15 members had completed the sexual harassment awareness training.

 

P25/027 COMMITTEE WORKPLAN

The committee workplan was noted.

 

P25/028 DATE OF THE NEXT MEETING

It was noted that the next scheduled meeting will be held on 9th March at 7:30pm.

 

P25/029  STAFF MORALE/WELFARE SURVEY

It was RESOLVED to exclude the public and press on the grounds that publicity would be prejudicial to the public interest by reason of the confidential nature of the business to be transacted.

The output of the July 2025 survey and planned actions was noted.

 

P25/030 STAFFING OVERVIEW REPORT

The report was noted.

 

P25/031 PERSONNEL MATTERS

It was suggested that the outdoor staff be reminded of the value of thermal undergarments during the winter months.
