REVIEW OF YEAR-TO-DATE INCOME AND EXPENDITURE
The financial position year to date was noted; the Town Clerk explained that the Large Grant Scheme budget was part spent as the Welcome grant being paid in two instalments and that the Council Grant Scheme budget was higher than the agreed budget due to the carry over of unpaid but agreed grants from the 2020/21 financial year.
FINANCIAL IMPACT OF COVID PANDEMIC
The report was noted.
COMMUNITY GRANT SCHEME
It was agreed to award grants in full to St Cross Church, Manor Park School Association and the Fresh Start Baby Bank.
FINANCIAL RISK ASSESSMENTS
The financial risk assessments for ReFresh Knutsford, Knutsford Food and Drink Festival and the creation of a regular voluntary archivist role were reviewed and no changes were made.
QUESTIONS TO THE TOWN CLERK
The Town Clerk responded to questions stating that he was awaiting the prospective tenants agreement to the heads of terms for Justice View and Lily Lodge and that the outstanding matters from the Internal Audit report would be brought to the first meeting of the Finance Committee.
