F24/030 DECLARATIONS OF MEMBERS’ INTERESTS

Cllr Banks declared a personal interest in F24/033 as a service user of Stable Minds and Cllr Mears declared a personal interest in F24/035 as a tenant of the Mereheath Lane allotments.

F24/032 CONFIRMATION OF PREVIOUS MINUTES

It was RESOLVED to confirm the minutes of the meeting held on 9th September 2024.

 

F24/033 LARGE GRANT SCHEME APPLICATIONS

It was RESOLVED to approve the award of a grant of up to £4,910 to Stables Minds for the development of a sensory tent for community events, subject to the provision of an up-to-date financial statement from the organisation.

 

F24/034 RESERVES POLICY

It was noted that Cheshire East Council would be recharging the cost of ordinary elections from 2027 which necessitates a change in the council’s election reserves policy.

It was RESOLVED to approve the revised policy.

 

F24/035 COUNCIL BUDGET 2025/26

The committee reviewed the draft budgets submitted by committees.

It was RESOLVED to recommend to Full Council that the precept for 2025/26 is set at £814,203.

It was RESOLVED to recommend to Full Council the budget as presented with the addition of a £2,000 budget for Market Hall events and the addition of the approve large grant.

It was RESOLVED to recommend to Full Council that it set reserves as set out in the report.
