E22/030 CONFIRMATION OF PREVIOUS MINUTES
It was RESOLVED to confirm the minutes of the meeting held 3rd October 2022.
E22/031 REVIEW OF YEAR TO DATE INCOME AND EXPENDITURE
The income and expenditure year to date was noted.
E22/032 KNUTSFORD GREAT RACE
The organiser of the Knutsford Great Race was invited to address the committee. It was reported that following the cancellation of the 2020 event due to COVID, the organisers had taken the time to look at how to deliver the event and planned to hold it on Sunday 10th September 2023 from 1pm.
It was noted that the route would not be around the Heath as had been planned, but instead would be along King Street and Moorside, starting from the Moor. To date 65 riders had signed up.
The committee expressed its support and excitement for the event.
E22/033 TOWN CENTRE MANAGEMENT REPORT
The report of the Town Centre Manager was noted.
It was noted that the Town Centre Manager was seeking to identify a solution for the issue of Regent Street residents being blocked from their private car park during market weekends, that previous solutions had become disagreeable, that she had met with residents to discuss the issue and that discussions were ongoing regarding the provision of permits for the Cheshire East Council car parks.
E22/034 KNUTSFORD TOWN CENTRE VITALITY PLAN
It was RESOLVED to endorse the plan, subject to cosmetic changes to photographs and wording.
E22/035 CORONATION OF HM KING CHARLES III
Cllr Houghton reported on a discussion with John Collins Funfair which will be in Knutsford from 3rd May noting there would be space on the Heath for activity.
It was RESOLVED that a meeting be held with John Collins and Cllr Houghton, Cllr Dalzell and the Events Officer to develop a proposal for a special committee meeting.
E22/036 TOWN CENTRE BUNTING
It was RESOLVED to task the Town Clerk and committee chairmen to identify projected underspends or develop proposals for the reallocation of 2023 budgets to see if funding can be allocated for town centre bunting and, noting that the committee considers it highly important, that Full Council consider the allocation of funding as identified.
E22/037 2023 EVENTS
The programme of events for the calendar year was noted.
It was noted that the Young Artist of the Year competition was being judged the following day and that an awards evening was taking place on 23rd November.
E22/023 QUESTIONS TO THE TOWN CLERK
The Town Clerk responded to a question in respect of the Makers Market, advising that discussions with the organisers concerning the funding of parking permits were being arranged and that in the interim the council had funded the permits for the February market.

The log was noted.
