E22/016 APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE

Apologies were received from Malloy and Nicholson (health).

 

E22/017 DECLARATIONS OF MEMBERS’ INTERESTS

No member declared an interest in any item under discussion.

 

E22/018 PUBLIC PARTICIPATION

No members of the public were present.

 

E22/019 CONFIRMATION OF PREVIOUS MINUTES

It was RESOLVED to confirm the minutes of the meeting held 13^th June.

 

E22/020 REVIEW OF YEAR TO DATE INCOME AND EXPENDITURE

The income and expenditure year to date was noted and the Town Clerk responded to questions confirming that one final payment was to be processed for the Music Festival and explaining when the committee incurs PayPal transaction fees for the voucher scheme.

 

E22/021 2023 EVENTS PROGRAMME

It was RESOLVED to approve the 2023 events programme as outlined noting the committee’s ability to instigate tactical/ad hoc events as necessary.

 

E22/022 COMMITTEE BUDGET 2023/24

It was RESOLVED to submit the draft budget to the Finance Committee as drafted save one amendment to include a £1,000 budget for the Alfresco Dining Events on the basis that it be utilised if necessary.

 

E22/023 QUESTIONS TO THE TOWN CLERK

The Town Clerk responded to questions stating that the Young Artist of Year competition would be pushed and that through the coach friendly town initiative the council would work with the Heritage Centre and other partners to bring visitors to the town.

 

E22/024 OUTSTANDING MATTERS LOG

The log was noted.

 

E22/025 DATE OF THE NEXT MEETING

It was noted the next scheduled meeting would be held on 5^th December 2022 at 7:30pm
