E22/043 DECLARATIONS OF MEMBERS’ INTERESTS
Cllr Houghton declared a personal interest in respect of E22/048 on the grounds of being a member of the 5th Knutsford Scouts executive.
Cllr Malloy a personal interest in respect of E22/048 on the grounds of being a chairman of the Knutsford Beer Festival.

E22/045 CONFIRMATION OF PREVIOUS MINUTES
It was RESOLVED to confirm the minutes of the meeting held 6th February.
E22/046 REVIEW OF YEAR TO DATE INCOME AND EXPENDITURE
The income and expenditure year to date was noted.
E22/047 REGULAR CLOSURE OF MINSHULL STREET
It was RESOLVED to support a monthly closure of Minshull Street from May to September, subject to further consultation with affected businesses and residents and that:
- officers in consultation with the appropriate members consider the consultation feedback to determine the progression of the closures
- the council fund the road closure order costs for the 2023 events
- the consultation commence after purdah unless the Bexton and Town Centre ward is uncontested
E22/048 CORONATION OF HM KING CHARLES III
It was RESOLVED to that a five musician and caller band for a barn dance would be preferred.
It was RESOLVED to hold a barn dance on the heath, with a beer tent provided by Knutsford Beer Festival and BBQ provided by 5th Knutsford Scouts, on the afternoon of Saturday 6th May.
E22/049 TOWN CENTRE MANAGEMENT REPORT
The report of the Town Centre Manager was noted and the Town Centre Manager was commended for its contents.
It was noted that annual meetings with the organisers of the Makers Market should take place between the Town Centre Manager and committee chairman.
E22/050 ALFRESCO DINING EVENTS
It was RESOLVED[1] to hold alfresco dining events on the weekend of the RHS Show in July.
E22/051 YOUNG ARTIST OF THE YEAR COMPETITION
It was noted that the buy-in from Knutsford Academy would enhance the event and it was suggested that wider recognition of the Young Artist of the Year should be considered, similar to the status of the Royal May Queen or Poet Laurette.
It was RESOLVED that the competition be repeated with a view to the awards evening being held as part of the week of the Art Trail.
