No members of the public were present.

 

E23/016 CONFIRMATION OF PREVIOUS MINUTES

It was RESOLVED to approve the minutes of the meeting held on 26^th June 2023.

 

E23/017 REVIEW OF YEAR TO DATE INCOME AND EXPENDITURE

The committee income and expenditure year-to-date was noted.

 

E23/018 TOWN COUNCIL 50^TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS

It was RESOLVED to hold an exhibition at Knutsford Heritage Centre as outlined.

It was RESOLVED to hold a dinner as a civic fundraising event.

It was RESOLVED to run a 50 things to do in Knutsford initiative

It was RESOLVED not to hold a fun day as a anniversary event, but to consider a fun day at the next committee meeting.

It was RESOLVED to approve the outlined budget for the agreed events.

 

E23/019 ART TRAIL PROPOSAL

It was RESOLVED that officers explore whether this could be merged into the Knutsford Music Festival.

 

E23/020 HERITAGE OPEN DAYS PROPOSAL

It was RESOLVED to coordinate a programme for Heritage Open Days.

 

E23/021 STRATEGIC PLAN

The status of actions under the committee were noted.

 

E23/022 COMMITTEE BUDGET 2024/25

It was RESOLVED to approve the draft budget as presented.

 

E23/023 OUTSTANDING MATTERS LOG

The log was noted.

 

E23/024 QUESTIONS TO THE TOWN CLERK

The Town Clerk responded to questions in relation to the capacity of events as part of Knutsford Music Festival, the reasons al fresco dining events on Minshull Street were cancelled and the reasons wristbands are not utilised for the music festival.

 

E23/025  DATE OF THE NEXT MEETING

It was noted that the next scheduled meeting would be held on 2^nd October 2023 at 6:30pm.
