EN20/016 APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE

EN20/017 DECLARATIONS OF MEMBERS’ INTERESTS
Cllr Gardiner declared a personal interest in E20/021 on the grounds of being a member of Cheshire East Council.
EN20/018 PUBLIC PARTICIPATION
A resident spoke in relation to Tatton Park expressing concern over maintenance of areas near the Knutsford access points and arising health and safety concerns. The resident suggested a Friends of Tatton Park group be established to provide resident-led input into the management of the park. The resident requested the council discuss Windmill Wood at a future meeting and requested further information on progress in establishing a cycle path from the Moor to Parkgate Lane and detail of the approved Parkgate Lane development.
A second resident spoke in relation to concerns over the safety of visitors entering Tatton Park from the Knutsford Gate due to the speed and volume of vehicles, lack of gritting and number of potholes. The resident echoed the suggestion that a Friends of Tatton Park group be established and noted it could include a representative of the Town Council to improve liaison between the town and Tatton Park.
EN20/019 CONFIRMATION OF PREVIOUS MINUTES
It was RESOLVED to confirm the minutes of the meeting held 30th November 2020.
EN20/020 REVIEW OF YEAR TO DATE INCOME AND EXPENDITURE
The year to day committee income and expenditure was noted.
EN20/021 CHESHIRE EAST COUNCIL LOCAL TRANSPORT DELIVERY PLAN
It was RESOLVED to approve the draft response to the consultation subject to the following amendments:
- A requirement for improved access to Knutsford Hospital
- Questioning whether appropriate funding for the delivery of the projects identified to ensure the focus extends beyond the principal towns
- A requirement to undertake studies to determine the need for a bypass/relief road as per Aspiration 7 of the Knutsford Neighbourhood Plan
EN20/022 HEALTH AND WELLBEING
The committee acknowledged the work of We Are Knutsford in supporting the wellbeing of the community through the pandemic.
It was agreed that a report be prepared for the next meeting to enable the committee to consider how best to support the town’s health and wellbeing.
EN20/023 NATURE ACTION PLAN
The committee noted the progress to date.
EN20/024 TOWN MAINTENANCE LOG
The report was noted. The incidence of flooding on Shaw Drive, Higher Downs and Mereheath Lane was noted and the Town Clerk reported that he was awaiting confirmation from Cheshire East Council as to the reason for the flooding.
EN20/025 ACTIONS LOG
The log was noted.
