24/038 CONFIRMATION OF PREVIOUS MINUTES
It was RESOLVED to approve the minutes of the meeting held on 8th July.

The minutes of committee meetings were noted.
24/040 CHESHIRE EAST COUNCILLORS’ REPORTS
The written reports of Cllrs Coan, Gardiner and Dean were noted.
24/041MEMBERS’ REPORTS
The written reports of Cllrs Dalzell and Johnson were noted.
Cllr Banks reported that he had attended a meeting of the Manchester Airport Technical Advisory Group but that it just reiterated information previously disseminated.
24/042 GASKELL AVENUE VERGE MAINTENANCE
It was RESOLVED that the council take responsibility for maintaining the new verge, that the Environment and Transport Committee agree a suitable low maintenance planting scheme and give consideration to including a bench and utilising setts removed from the street as part of the landscaping scheme.
Cllr McCulloch abstained from voting.
24/043 COMMUNITY INFRASTRUCTURE LEVY PROJECTS
It was RESOLVED to add the rebuild of Toft Cricket Club to the approved CIL Projects List with an allocation of £50,000 noting that the figure would be subject to final determination of the appropriate amount at the appropriate time.
24/044 CORPORATE PEER CHALLENGE
The Town Clerk reported that the working group would be meeting the following evening, that the peer visit would take place from 5th-7th November and that that the working group would be preparing the background information and coordinating the arrangements for the visit.
24/045 MAYORAL DUTIES
The Town Mayor reported on attendance at the events detailed in appendix A, highlighting attendance at school fairs and presenting the prizes for the council’s green space drawing competition.
24/046 PAYMENTS
The payments were noted.
24/047 OUTSTANDING MATTERS LOG
The log was noted, the Town Clerk provided updates in respect of items and undertook to liaise with Cllr Gardiner to secure an update on the poor quality reinstatement of the highway at Ladies Mile and Cranford Avenue.
24/048 PUBLIC PARTICIPATION
No members of the public were present.
24/049 QUESTIONS TO THE TOWN CLERK
The Town Clerk responded to questions advising that:
- There had been no further correspondence in respect of Windmill Wood
- The offer of a meeting with Dewscope had been declined
- Information was awaited on the outline business case prepared by the Knutsford Medical Partnership and a future ICB decision on providing additional funding, before a further public meeting could be arranged on the proposed improvement to medical facilities
- Residents wishing to prune trees on the highway would be advised to speak with Cheshire East Highways before undertaking work and that it was unlikely CEC would undertake work that is not a matter of safety
- The email received from a coach operator regarding accessing the academy via Stanley Road had been responded to by the Town Mayor
- Issues of vehicles contravening weight restrictions should be reported to the police and that any non-policing could be raised with the Police and Crime Commissioner
