A21/037 APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE

Cllr Forbes declared a personal interest in A21/042 on the grounds of being disabled.
A21/039 PUBLIC PARTICIPATION
No members of the public wished to address the committee.
A21/040 CONFIRMATION OF PREVIOUS MINUTES
It was RESOLVED to confirm the minutes of the meeting held 22nd November 2021.
A21/041 REVIEW OF YEAR TO DATE INCOME AND EXPENDITURE
The year to date income and expenditure was noted.
A21/042 CEMETERY MANAGEMENT PLAN 2022-27
It was noted that the provision of Wi-Fi in the chapel would be explored subject to user feedback and that the siding out of the path to the cemetery would first and foremost be the responsibility of Cheshire East Council. Clarification was requested on the ability to inter multiple cremated remains in a single plot which the Town Clerk confirmed was possible subject to ashes not being placed in a casket. The safety of wheelchair and cycle users was raised as an important consideration in revealing the cobbles outside the cemetery gates.
It was RESOLVED to approve the Cemetery Management Plan 2022-27 and the Town Clerk be responsible for its implementation in line with approved budgets.
A21/043 MARKETS STRATEGY
It was noted that the detail of a proposed new outdoor market would be developed and presented to the committee in due course.
It was RESOLVED to authorise the Town Clerk to finalise the document in consultation with the relevant chairmen once the Events and Town Centre Management Committee has given its approval to the same.
A21/044 60 KING STREET REGENERATION PROJECT
The Town Clerk reported that the council had been awarded a grant of £8,000 from the Architectural Heritage Fund towards consultation and a governance review in support of the project.
A21/045 QUESTIONS TO THE TOWN CLERK
The Town Clerk responded to a question confirming that the lease for Lily Lodge had been completed and the tenant would now be looking to open their business as soon as planning permission for their works was approved.
A21/046 OUTSTANDING MATTERS LOG
The log was noted, and it was suggested that should the memorial lighting not be in place by the Jubilee weekend that temporary lighting should be explored.

It was noted that the next scheduled meeting would be held on 14th March 2022 at 7:30pm.
