No members of the public were present.

 

REVIEW OF YEAR-TO-DATE INCOME AND EXPENDITURE

The report was noted and the Town Clerk explained the expenditure for Memorials was currently fully covered by commensurate income for the works, that the heads of terms were being agreed for Lily Lodge and Justice View and that the contract costs for the public toilets is shown as a total commitment at the start of the financial year and reduces as income credits are received.

 

NOTES OF PREVIOUS WORKING GROUP MEETING

The notes of the previous meeting were noted.

 

CEMETERY CHAPEL BELL AND WEATHERVANE

 The principle of the reinstatement of the bell and weathervane was supported by members. It was agreed that the works should be considered as part of the budget planning process for the 2022/23 financial year.

 

CEMETERY CREMATION GARDEN

It was agreed that the Cemetery Working Group revisit the proposal to create a cremation garden on the old unpurchased graves area.

QUESTIONS TO THE TOWN CLERK

 The Town Clerk undertook to provide a report on public toilet usage at the next meeting.
