1 APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE

2 DECLARATIONS OF MEMBERS’ INTERESTS

To receive declarations of personal, prejudicial and pecuniary interests from members relevant to items under discussion at the meeting.

 

3 PUBLIC PARTICIPATION

A period of up to 15 minutes for members of the public to ask questions or submit comments.

 

4 TOWN COUNCIL BUDGET 2021/22

To review the draft council budget and consider a recommendation to Full Council for the council’s budget, reserves and precept for the financial year starting 1^st April 2021.

5 CONFIRMATION OF PREVIOUS MINUTES

To receive and confirm the minutes of the committee meeting held on 5^th October 2020.

6 COMMITTEE TERMS OF REFERENCE

To note the committee’s terms of reference.

7 APPOINTMENT OF WORKING GROUPS

To appoint members to the following working groups: Banking and Investments (2), Small Grants (3), Internal Audit (3).

 

8 RESERVES POLICY

To consider the adoption of a policy on reserves.

9 INTERNAL AUDIT WORKING GROUP TERMS OF REFERENCE

In accordance with Financial Regulations, the terms of reference of the working group are to be reviewed at the first Finance Committee meeting in each new mayoral year.

10 QUESTIONS TO THE TOWN CLERK

An opportunity for members to raise questions relevant to the work of the committee to the Town Clerk

To note that no actions under the committee are outstanding.

To note that the next scheduled meeting will be held on 19^th January 2021 at 6:30pm.

 

13 OUTSTANDING DEBTORS

To resolve to exclude the public and press on the grounds that publicity would be prejudicial to the public interest by reason of the confidential nature of the business to be transacted.

To review the council’s outstanding debtor report and consider if any additional action is necessary to purse debts.
