P26/021 CONFIRMATION OF PREVIOUS MINUTES
It was RESOLVED to approve the minutes of the meeting held 1st June.
P26/022 RECRUITMENT OF TOWN CLERK
It was RESOLVED to exclude the public and press on the grounds that publicity would be prejudicial to the public interest by reason of the confidential nature of the business to be transacted.
The committee recorded its thanks to the Town Clerk for his hard work and the manner in which he undertook his duties and oversaw the transformation of the Town Council during his tenure, noting the reputation the council now has and wishing him well in his future endeavours.
It was RESOLVED to approve the job description as drafted.
It was RESOLVED to approve the person specification as drafted.
It was RESOLVED to approve the grading of the role at LC4 Below (SCP 46-49)
It was RESOLVED to approve the recruitment process detailed in report P-26-06.
It was agreed that Cllrs Dalzell, Coan, Gardiner, McCulloch and Mears form the panel for the first interviews, with all committee members invited to form the panel for the second interviews.
