REVIEW OF YEAR-TO-DATE INCOME AND EXPENDITURE

The year to date income and expenditure was noted.

 

TOWN CENTRE MANAGEMENT REPORT

The report was noted; it was suggested that efforts be made to recruit a florist into the voucher scheme and that in future Tatton Park enable access to late night events via the Knutsford gate to prevent residents having to travel via Rostherne.

Members supported holding an additional ‘Head out Not Home’ event for Minshull Street.

 

IMPACT OF CORONAVIRUS ON SUMMER EVENTS PROGRAMME

The report was noted and Cllr Malloy reported seeing a number of people attending the Art Trail.

 

BUSINESS COVID IMPACT SURVEY

The output of the survey was noted and the recommendations endorsed. It was suggested that public realm be looked at to deter parking in areas e.g. outside Barclays.

 

AUTUMN/WINTER EVENTS PROGRAMME

The arrangements and changes to the programme were noted.

 

KNUTSFORD FOOD AND DRINK FESTIVAL 2022 PROPOSAL

Members supported the proposed event.

 

RE-FRESH KNUTSFORD

Members supported the proposed event.

 

HM THE QUEEN’S PLATINUM JUBILEE

Cllr Malloy reported the schools would be keen to be involved in any celebrations and it was noted that the council’s tree planting could be included within the celebrations.

It was suggested that a competition is held for children with an exhibition held as part of an event on the Heath involving stalls, engaging brownies/scouts. It was also suggested that a street party in the town centre could be held.
