Town Meeting and Town Awards 2019

Knutsford’s community volunteers will be recognised next week at the annual Town Awards. The awards, now in their 6th year, recognise the contributions made to the community of Knutsford including businesses, community organisations and individuals.

The awards accompany the Annual Town Meeting, an annual open meeting of the community chaired by the Town Mayor. The meeting provides an opportunity for any resident to raise any issues they believe need discussing in Knutsford.

The Town Meeting and Town Awards takes place at 7pm on Thursday 7th March in St John’s Church.

“These awards recognise the outstanding work that many in our community do for the good of Knutsford, just being shortlisted for an award is a great achievement in itself” Town Mayor Cllr Peter Coan.

The nominations were judged by a panel comprising Cllrs Peter Coan, Andrew Malloy and James Power with Town Clerk Adam Keppel-Green and award sponsor Ian Cass from the Forum of Private Business.
