Cllr Peter Coan, Mayor of Knutsford, is getting into the Christmas Spirit this next week with his fundraising events.
On Saturday 1 December we will be selling raffle tickets for £2 each at the Mayor’s Market Stall. There is one prize and it’s a big one! The winner will get over 100 prizes generously donated by all the stallholders at the Knutsford Christmas Market. This prize really will ‘sort’ Christmas for the lucky winner. Come and visit the stall on Princess Street (nr Silk Mill Street) and buy your ticket for a chance to win this amazing prize. The winning ticket will be drawn by the Mayor at the Light Switch On at 6pm on the performance stage in Canute Place.
Our last fundraising event of the year is a fantastic festive visit and lunch at Tatton Mansion on Tuesday 4 December from 11am onwards. Tickets are on sale now for £25 per person. This includes the visit, a two-course festive lunch, coffee and free parking. Cllr Peter Coan the Mayor said: “I have had a fantastic fundraising year so far having already raised £1300. I do hope you will be able to support my Mayor’s stall as this usually raises a significant amount of money for my local charities. Please join me for my festive lunch and visit at Tatton Mansion, which will be a fantastic Christmas event.”
