The event will be back to its full glory with the trail, live entertainment and exciting photo opportunities from 4-7pm! Remembrance Sunday
This year, the Remembrance Sunday Parade will assemble at the King Street Car Park from 8:45am and set off at 9am along King Street, Tatton Street, Canute Place and Princess Street to arrive at St John’s Church for a 9:30am service. At approximately 10:30am the Church will lead a procession to the Centennial War Memorial for the main wreath laying and service with a two-minute silence at 11am. Lantern Parade & Crib Service
The town’s Christmas Crib is blessed, and a selection of Carols are sang as part of the Crib Service. The service is led by the local churches with an introduction from the Mayor. The Crib Service is held by the town Crib which is located on Princess Street opposite the Lost and Found.
