This year, the Remembrance Sunday Parade will assemble at the King Street Car Park from 8:45am and set off at 9am along King Street, Tatton Street, Canute Place and Princess Street to arrive at St John’s Church for a 9:30am service. At approximately 10:30am the Church will lead a procession to the Centennial War Memorial for the main wreath laying and service with a two-minute silence at 11am.
Please note that this is a minor change to previous years as the parade will not assemble at Drury Lane and it will not reform after the church service.
We would also welcome your attendance at the services being held at the Crosstown War Memorial, War Memorial Cottage Hospital and Tatton Park, full details of which can be found below. At the end of the services, the Town Mayor will host refreshments at the Council Offices.
